If I had the chance to clone myself, I wouldn’t clone myself. Even though I wouldn’t have the great help that comes from a clone. I wouldn’t clone myself, but I do believe in clone organs.
I wouldn’t clone myself because, I wouldn’t be unique anymore. Instead of me being a copy I would want to be myself. Also if everyone cloned himself or herself there may be over population. Over population can cause fewer jobs, food, shelter, and more. Another reason I may not clone myself is that people may get confused. When I say confused I mean saying if my clone did something and people might blame it on me for things I didn’t even do. Another reason is that diseases can spread easily. For example if someone has the flu my clone can catch it and it can spread to me and than to another and on and on. Dolly the cloned sheep the scientists used 277 cells and only 1 was successful for them to use. Cloning is not necessary for humans it costs too much and may not be successful.
However there are some good reasons that some out of cloning such as if you are sick your clone can donate blood. For example if I am sick or I need to get surgery I can just ask my clone to donate some blood for me instead of searching for someone with the same blood type. Another reason is that if I had a lot of things to do they can help you complete something. For example if I had a lot of errands to do they can go to the grocery and buy the items that you need. Another reason that people should clone is because you can clone animals and there would be more food for humans. Cloning isn’t only for humans’ animals can do it also. It can be used to bring back extinct animals or also people pets! Cloning can be necessary in some ways.
I believe in cloning organs because if someone needs an organ they can just clone someone’s to donate. For example if you had a chance for life or death you would clearly chose life and you can ask a family member to clone the organ needed instead of going on a search for a generous donator.
I would not want to clone myself if I had the chance to or if someone asked. There can be some good ideas for cloning but there are more things for not. I don’t believe that anyone should clone themselves, but they should clone healthy organs and animals for their pleasure.
